What is a nameserver record and what do I do with it?

When you register a domain, default DNS settings are applied by your domain provider. At Network Dynamics, our default NS recordsare :

• ns1.dnsrecord.com.au
• ns2.dnsrecord.com.au

However, if you choose to update your nameserver configuration, you must log into your Network Dynamics Client Area and modify your nameserver records accordingly. Upon signing up for Network Dynamics, you will receive a Welcome Email containing detailed instructions, including the proper nameserver record information. It is important to follow these guidelines carefully to avoid any disruption to your online services.

After updating your nameserver record, please allow between 24 and 48 hours for the DNS changes to propagate across the internet. During this period, some visitors may experience slight delays in accessing your website as the new settings take effect. Regularly checking your DNS configuration is a good practice to ensure that your domain remains secure and operates efficiently.
