Getting started with the Network Dynamics Client Area #
Welcome to Network Dynamics!
This guide provides a quick overview of the main features available in your Network Dynamics Client Area to help you manage your services, domains and billing.
Client Area overview #
Dashboard
- The Dashboard Provides an overview of your Network Dynamics account
- This is the default page you’ll be taken to when logging in
- Quickly see details of services, domains, invoices, support tickets and more
- The dashboard has quick links to ‘View Support Code‘ (used for security when asking for support) and Account Details
Services
- View and manage your active Services, including hosting, SSL and spam filtering products
- Log in to your hosting/spam filtering control panels
- Change the hosting login password and add-on options
- Request service cancellations
- Upgrade/downgrade hosting plans and more
Domains
- See the Domains you have registered with Network Dynamics
- View, manage and renew domain names
- See next due dates and auto-renew statuses
- Update domain contact information and Nameservers
- Manage DNSSEC and child host records
Billing
- View and manage your invoices and payment methods
- ‘My Invoices‘ lets you view/pay/download current and past invoices
- ‘Payment Methods‘ lets you add/edit/remove payment details such as credit card or PayPal agreements
Support #
- Access support and knowledgebase features
- Create and respond to current or previous Support Tickets
- View or re-generate your account’s Support Code
- Search our help articles and guides
Services page #
From the main Dashboard in the Client Area, you can see an abridged list of “Your Active Products/Services“.
- To view all services, and, in greater detail, go to the “Services” menu
- From here you can view and filter services by ‘Active‘, ‘Cancelled‘ or ‘All‘
- Cancelled/inactive services can be hidden with the toggle switch in the top right of the list
- You can sort the list by ‘Product/Service‘ type, ‘Price‘, ‘Next Due Date‘ and ‘Status‘
- Clicking the ‘Manage’ button of a service shows more details and links to actions that relate to that product
- For Hosting Packages, you can;
- See an overview of disk usage and current status
- One-click login to the hosting/cPanel
- Update the cPanel password
- Upgrade/downgrade hosting packages
- Access quick links to common cPanel tools
- Modify additional options (add-on domains and dedicated IP)
- Request service cancellation
- For Hosting Packages, you can;
Domains page #
From the ‘Domains‘ menu in the Client Area, you can see a list of domains registered with Network Dynamics.
Here you’ll be able to quickly view the ‘Next Due Date‘, ‘Auto Renew‘ and ‘Registration Status’.
- You can also filter domains by ‘Active‘, ‘Cancelled‘, ‘Expired’ or ‘All‘
- Cancelled/inactive domains can be hidden with the toggle switch in the top right of the list
- You can sort the list by ‘Product/Service‘ type, ‘Price‘, ‘Next Due Date‘ and ‘Status‘
- Clicking the ‘Manage’ button of a domain shows more details and links to actions such as;
- Nameservers
- Registrar Lock
- Domain Contact Info
- EPP code
- DNSsec/Child Host records
Billing page #
From the ‘Billing‘ menu in the Client Area, you can access your past and current invoices, along with any payment details saved to your account.
The Billing menu has 2 parts;
- My Invoices
- View, download and pay invoices
- Filter invoices by ‘Paid‘, ‘Unpaid‘, ‘Refunded’, ‘Cancelled’ or ‘All‘
- You can sort the list by ‘Invoice No.‘, ‘Date‘, ‘Due Date‘, ‘Total‘ and ‘Status‘
- Click an invoice to view, download or pay it
- Payment Methods
- Add new payment details to your account
- Edit/remove payment methods such as credit cards or PayPal Agreements
- Set the default billing method
